An acrylic painting of a lakeside scene signed by artist Bachmann. This Impressionist style painting depicts a woman and child standing amidst a lush island overtaken by dry-brushed foliage accented with daubs of pigment. They look off into the distance, watching two single-masted sailboats glide across a calm body of water. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted signature, the first initial of which is illegible. The painting is presented in a cobalt blue wooden frame with a sawtooth bracket to the verso for hanging.

- slight wear to frame; taped remnants clung to frame verso.
