Item Details
A circa 1991 gouache painting on paper by artist Rodney J. Gottlieb. The still life piece depicts a blue vase of calla lilies with long green stems and pale pink petals, set against a black background. The work is initialed “RJG” in layered paint to the lower left, with an inscription in black ink to the frame backing. It is double-matted in black and peach and presented under glass in a black wooden and plastic frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- edge wear, scuffs and blemishes to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
