Woven Willow Fishing Creel with Fishing Lures and Reels

A woven willow fishing creel with fishing lures and reels. Included in the grouping is A Fisherman’s Prayer framed plaque labeled to the front ‘Souvenir of Portsmouth New Hampshire’, a framed print of Vintage Salmon Fly Reels. Included is a framed collection of six trout flies including Kingfisher Butcher, Teal Blue & Silver, Mallard & Claret, Alexander, Watson’s Fancy, and Hardy’s Gold Butcher. They are presented in a wood frame, and labeled ‘Trout Flies’ to the front. A vintage framed red and white fishing lure is included. It has a set of three treble hooks attached to the base. It is framed in a riker style box and does not appear to be labeled. Included are a Mepps Aglia and a Mepps Black Fury Combo lures with their original packaging. Another framed fishing lure with a patterned body with two attached treble hooks is included. This lure is framed within a riker style box. An oblong wood box is included, with silver-tone fish to the front of the box. It does not appear to be labeled. Three open face fishing reels are included in this group. They include a Pflueger Akron number 1893, a Bronson Retriever number 2900, and another reel that does not appear to be marked. With these are a woven willow fishing basket in a natural color. It opens at the top, and has a handle to the back. It does not appear to be labeled.
Condition
- the wood framed lures have chips to the wood; the Mepps packaging has dents to it and crinkles to the plastic and label residue to the reverse; the wooden box with the silver-tone fish to the front is dusty and has scuffs to the wood while the reverse has discoloration to one end; the three open faced reels have scratching and have not been tested; the woven willow fishing basket has breaks to the woven willow exterior and white paint residue toward the back it has not been tested for opening and closure.
