1920s Weller Pottery "Blue Ware" Vase
Item Details
A 1920s Weller Blue Ware ceramic vase. The tall tapered vase features two panels; one of a Grecian woman playing a lyre and one of a dancing Grecian woman holding a bunch of grapes, shown in an idyllic garden with flowers and birds. It has an embossed style on a rich matte royal blue background. The ivory colored figures and the foliage are in bas-relief and are enhanced with pink, green, and brown colors, with floral and foliate banding to both the top and the base. The vase is marked to the verso.
