A limited edition serigraph titled Sonya, by Venezuelan-born artist Elba Alvarez (born 1944). This print, featuring painterly blobs and lines of color before a highlighted gray box, uses thoughtful use of drop shadow to give an surrealist impression of depth. The piece is numbered 28/200, titled, and signed in pencil to its lower edge, and is presented behind acrylic glass in a black frame with a wire for hanging.
