Late 1800's Victorian "Crazy" Quilt

An antique Victorian Crazy quilt. This circa 1800’s handcrafted quilt is constructed from appliqued blocks and features fabrics including velvet, wool, silk, and cotton in a variety of colors and patterns. The patchwork and blocks are embroidered along each seam with vibrant decorative stitching. It finishes with a red wool backing. This quilt was gifted to the seller in a hope chest by her Great Grandmother Willie Frances of Tennessee.

- some fraying to patch areas and at binding.
