Item Details

A Chippendale style writing desk by Hekman of Grand Rapids, MI. The desk features a three-paned leather inlay to the writing surface that is covered with a piece of protective glass to the rounded top overhanging a case of drawers. A pair of stacked drawers flank the kneehole opening under a flip-down drawer to the center, each having a flame mahogany veneer panel and brass batwing pulls. The piece rises on four cabriole legs terminating on claw and ball feet.
