Unger Bros. Sterling Silver Clothes Brush with Sterling Handled Comb
Item Details
A sterling silver handled clothes brush and comb. The clothes brush by Unger Bros. of Newark, NJ (active 1872-1919) features an ornate flower and ribbon repoussé design to the handle with a personalized engraving in the shaped cartouche to the center. It is stamped to the side with the ‘UB’ maker’s mark alongside ‘Sterling 925 Fine’. Also presented is a plastic comb with a scroll and bead accented sterling handle, marked ‘Sterling’ along the side.
Condition
- minor surface wear including marks, scratches, and minimal tarnishing; personalized engraving on brush’s handle.
