Keystone View Company Magic Lantern Slides in Slide Cabinet

An antique card catalog-style cabinet by the Keystone View Company holding glass magic lantern slides. The cabinet is constructed of oak with twelve labeled drawers, each of which can hold up to fifty slides. Slides include black and white photographic scenes of New York City. The Keystone View Company of Meadville, PA began producing glass lantern slides as part of its Educational Department beginning in 1095, of which this ‘600 Set Knowledge Visualised Concrete Study Course’ was a part.
