Pair of John Richard Empire Style Armchairs

Item Details

A pair of chairs. These two contemporary Empire style chairs by John Richard feature mahogany construction in a medium dark finish and an ogee curve crest rail with carved rosettes. The curvilinear arms are also embellished with rosettes to a a scroll and acanthus leaves. The chair sits on rounded tapering saber legs highlighted with acanthus leaves, as well. These chairs are marked with the manufacturer’s tag to the underside which reads, ‘John Richard.’
