Franz Wittwer Dresden Lace Ballerina Figurine and Porcelain Compote
Item Details
A porcelain compote and ballerina figurine. The compote stands on a footed pedestal, it is adorned with applied flowers in pink, lavender, red, blue and yellow with green leaves accented with gold gilt embellishments. To the top at each end are putti with wings. It is marked ‘Made in Germany’ to the verso. Also featured is a Franz Wittwer ballerina with arms in the air, blue shoes and gold gilt accents. Marked to the underside ‘Germany’ and to the back with maker’s mark.
Condition
- ballerina missing a pinky and chunks of dress; surface residue the interior and exterior.
