Vintage Japanese Carved Camphor Chest

Item Details

A vintage Japanese carved camphor chest. This rectangular, lid top chest with solid side panels terminates on carved bracket feet. The chest features a carved cityscape scene with figures to the top and front panel. The side panels each feature a single scoop handle. The front panel features a decorative brass plate and drop lock. This piece opens to an interior storage space. There are no visible maker’s marks.
