Signed Hand Thrown Mexican Stoneware Covered Jar
Item Details
A signed Mexican hand thrown white stoneware covered jar. The jar has an oblate shape and a rounded lid with a flared handle. The design features a repeated pattern of leaf pairs in alternating tones of blue, a floral band below the rim and a modified fret pattern around the center, with slip trailing and hand-painting. The jar has a black rim and handle with the overall design made in a two toned blue palette. The base is marked ‘Servin / Mexico 96.’
