Vintage Cook Rite Stoneware

Item Details

A two-piece set of Cook Rite stoneware items. The group includes a pie plate and a mixing bowl with both having small-eared handles. They are both a mustard yellow color with the bottom half having a brownish color with an embossed fruit and foliate design. The pieces are marked “Cook-Rite Cookin-Ware Economy Health Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 91285” The patent #91285 was issued to Warren I. Tyler in 1934. Tyler owned WI Tyler Pottery Company in Roseville, Ohio and it was in operation from 1921-1958.
