Chinese Gouache Paintings of Ladies on Silk
Item Details
A pair of Chinese gouache paintings of ladies on silk. These two are each carefully detailed to depict women in flowing robes, one investigating a butterfly and the other carrying a bolt of patterned cloth. Both paintings feature signature seals and a line of calligraphic text to one edge and feature dark brocade borders. They are not framed.
Condition
- slight wear to edges of mats; corners of backings curl up.
