An oil painting on canvas of a still life with peaches by listed American artist Leonard Woodruff (1880 – 1970). Portrayed with subdued patches of color, this work features a bunch of peaches spilling out of a slightly toppled bowl on a flat surface. The work is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a gold-tone gesso wood frame with a textural liner. Handwritten inscriptions are present to the stretcher verso.

Condition

- small spots of paint loss in lower left corner of painting; some wear to frame includes scratches, stains, and finish loss scattered throughout.
