This Impressionist style painting depicts a large body of water bordering against a rolling landscape of grassy hills, with a well illuminated valley to the distance. To the lower left corner is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone and mottled wooden frame with a string to the verso for hanging.

- relined with wax; inpainting along top; marks to the upper right; minor scratches to surface.
