Antique National Cash Register

Item Details

An antique National cash register featuring an ornately embossed design to the silver tone metal with urns, garlands and arabesques throughout. It features 22 press buttons, including a No Sale button and denominations from one cent to three dollars. The buttons have corresponding white and black metal numbers to the top behind glass. The wood drawer is topped by a white marble slab; and it includes nine compartments for storage of currency and coins with three keepers for the currency. The piece rests on a wooden base and is marked with the numbers 958 F; 300 #2; 820F; 863; and 00364.

Condition

- white marble slab chipped and broken; finish wear to metal and wood; oxidation; wear to the interior of the drawers; missing name plate to the front; missing glass slab to the top; untested.
