A Fauvist-style acrylic still life painting on canvas. This work depicts an arrangement of white and blue china, the largest vessel filled with lightly drooping red poppies. It features loose brushwork and clear, carefully chosen colors, giving the work an impression of both dreaminess and clarity. There is a loosely-rendered border around the perimeter of the piece, which is illegibly signed by the artist to its lower left corner and is mounted in a silver tone frame. There is a hanging wire present to the verso of the work.
