An antique hand-knotted Persian Sarouk area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of crimson, cobalt blue, pink, tan, ocher, light blue, emerald, cream, and golden-yellow. The field is patterned with ornate flower sprays, leaves, and vasiform shapes. It is framed with geometric and floral meander borders, finished with overcast selvedges, and fringe to either end.Unmarked.
