Item Details
An antique hand-knotted Persian Heriz area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of red, ocher, coral,slate blue, cream, avocado, black, and navy. The rug features a large eight pointed star-like medallion, an almond shaped crimson lozenge, and bold geometric floral patterns. It is framed with ‘S’ hook motif and rosette meander borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
