A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug.This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of magenta, cerulean. cream, sky blue, and beige. The field is patterned with lush floral sprays, encircling a central oval shaped medallion. It has broken borders of arched shaped flower arrangements and ogival cut-aways. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
