An antique Victorian Aesthetic Movement faux-bamboo corner chair and a trefoil stand, circa late 19th century. The wooden chair frame is finished in later, glossy-black paint. It features two spindled, back panels interrupted by three ring-turned stiles above a padded, black seat. It rises on three stile legs with one turned, front leg, all of which are joined by a spindled, box stretcher. The wooden stand has later, black paint with a three-lobed top edged in brass-tone studs and applied with a small, silver-tone plaque. It rises on three turned, splayed legs joined by spindled stretchers with protruding, knob terminals.

- to fair; both with later, black paint; chair upholstery is also later and brass-tone studs along edge of stand are possibly later; some light scratches, scuffs, and resulting small paint losses scattered throughout both; chair with a larger paint loss to back of left-most leg revealing an underlying layer of gold paint.
