An acrylic painting on panel titled Night Eyes by American folk artist Michael Finster (born 1969). This piece depicts a rural church on fire with a small devil nearby, and a large owl in the night sky, with smoke and clouds surrounding it. The scene has a painted blue border and a white border with black line drawings decorating it. The work is signed and dated ‘7-26-06’ to the lower right, titled to the upper center, and has text painted on the left side reading ‘Campfire by the church. All day eating dinner on the ground. As the fires burning the Devil’s all around.’
