Antique Empire-Revival Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique Empire-Revival mahogany chest of drawers. This rectangular top chest of drawers with beveled edges overhangs a conforming case. The case supports four various sized drawers above three full width, stacked drawers. The drawers feature dovetail joinery, escutcheons, and knob handles. This piece terminates on claw feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- heavy scratches to top; drawers are sticky and one of the knobs is broken off, but included; faces of drawers are heavily scratched and there is moderate loss of finish throughout; minor chips to edges; dust present.
