A Chinese gouache and ink painting on paper. This work features an outdoor scene and depicts a graceful young woman dressed in flowing garments, standing near a cluster of bamboo. It is inscribed with calligraphic inscriptions and marked with a red seal to the upper left margin. This work is presented mounted as a hanging scroll on paper embellished with silk gauze with a string pull.

Condition

- wrinkled ground; slight discoloration to verso; snags in silk gauze; stains to string tie; wear to paper and silk at upper rod; paper tape to verso.
