Item Details
A flame mahogany veneered Scottish wardrobe from the early 19th century. The upright piece comprises a molded projecting cornice above two flame veneered, paneled doors including banded borders and escutcheon with skeleton key. The interior reveals four linen drawers. The lower cabinet features a central recessed panel hand-dovetailed drawer and four flanking drawers with two long drawers below, all with cockbeaded borders. The case stands on thick, ring and vase turned legs with casters, joined by a scroll carved and paneled apron. Circa 1825.
