A Chinese gouache painting of a woman on hanging scroll. This piece depicts the figure with a paper fan in one hand, her head turned to peer over her shoulder toward the viewer. The painting features a signature seal and a block of calligraphic writing to its upper right, and is mounted to a paper backing with a silk gauze border, a wooden rod to one end and a length of string for hanging and rolling at its top.

- fair; discoloration is present to the composition; the paper is worn along the top exterior.
