Antique English Elm Hepplewhite Arm Chair

Item Details

An antique Hepplewhite style elm armchair from the 18th century. The chair features a straight crest rail with incised square spindles, serpentine arms and a solid panel seat. It stands on tapered legs joined by a box stretcher. A plaid seat cushion is included.

Condition

- finish loss and visible cuts and repairs to legs; age related separation crack to seat; worm holes, indents, nicks, scratches and marks consistent with age and use.
