70-Piece Oneida Heirloom "Damask Rose" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A seventy-piece set of sterling silver flatware by Heirloom Sterling, a trademark of Oneida. The pieces in this set display the Damask Rose pattern with a slightly flared handle having rose and leaf accents, first introduced in 1946, designed by Grosvenor N. Allen and Mary P. Fleming. The collection includes twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, one serving fork, twelve hollow handle knives with stainless steel blades, five butter spreaders, one master butter knife, twenty-one teaspoons, four cream soup spoons, one serving spoon and one ladle, marked under the handles ‘Heirloom Sterling, Damask Rose.’ The utensils are presented in a wooden flatware chest by the International Silver Co. with a tarnish resistant fuchsia lining. The total approximate weight, excluding hollow handle knives, is 67.843.
