Vintage Queen Anne Style Walnut Settee in Custom, Parakeet Upholstery

Item Details

A vintage Queen Anne style walnut settee recently reupholstered in a custom, parakeet fabric. The frame, made by White, features a gently-arched crest above a padded back and seat flanked by exposed, spindled arms. The back and seat are covered in linen-colored, parakeet-patterned fabric with grey-blue and gold-tone accents while the arm panels are upholstered in grey fabric. The settee rises on three cylindrical and tapered, front legs ending in pad feet, the two outer examples of which protrude upward with turned finials. There are no maker’s marks.

- to fair; frame with some light wear to finish with some small nicks/chips and scuffs; right arm with a slightly larger scuff; upholstery is later.
