A pair of large hand painted and carved wood Indian black elephants. Both of the elephants have raised trunks and one is carrying a wedding couple sitting under an ornate howdah. The other elephant has an octagon stand on its back. Both have colorful, floral and patterned caparisons in hues of red, gold and white.

Condition

Mostly in good shape, some marks and scratches on the surface of the black paint.

Dimensions

The size above refers to the elephant with the stand on his back. The elephant with the wedding couple is 12" tall x 8.25" wide x 4.00" deep.
