Chinese Gouache Hanging Scroll
Item Details
A Chinese gouache painting on paper. This painting depicts several birds with blue feathers, perched on a tree with branches bearing pink blossoms. It is marked with calligraphic inscriptions and a red seal to the upper right corner. The painting is presented mounted on a silk brocade as a hanging scroll with a string pull.
Condition
- discoloration throughout; bleeding from painting onto verso; wrinkles and small creases throughout; wear to edges and string hanger.
