Early 20th Century Blue Willow Covered Vegetable Dish

An early 20th-century covered vegetable dish in the charming blue and white transferware pattern Willow, illustrating the lover’s cottage with willow tree, crooked fence and doves. The pattern was first introduced in Staffordshire, England in 1784 and is thought to be the longest pattern ever in production The deep dish has a domed lid with finial, it is marked under glaze ‘Made in Great Britain, Willow’.
Condition
- crazing and discoloration as to be expected for the age of the dish
