An antique bi-color Staffordshire platter in the pattern Bologna by William Adams circa 1830. The oval transferware platter enjoys a wide green border and the center scene in red illustrating a romantic landscape with gondolas and renaissance architecture. The platter is ink stamped with a cartouche to the back in red reading ‘Bologna’ and the name Adams incised.
