Item Details

A pair of handbuilt stoneware candlesticks, shaped and expressively hand painted in black underglaze to depict nude, winged angels. The flat earthenware ‘angel’ plaques are inserted into black, footed stems with black candle wells. Each is signed illegibly at the base and dated 1991.
