Antique Provincial Louis XV Style Slipper Chair in Custom Upholstery
Item Details
An antique provincial Louis XV style slipper chair in custom upholstery, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The wooden frame has a later, distressed finish in shades of cream and brown and was recently upholstered in a contemporary fabric with a yellow, grey, and silver wave pattern with double cord trim. It features a rolled crest and a padded back flanked by scrolled-foliate stiles above a padded, spring seat. The chair rises on short, cabriole front legs centered by a scrolled-foliate pendant and ending in rollerball casters.
