A selection of West and East African hand-carved wooden sculptures including works from Ghana and Tanzania. This selection of eight includes figures playing instruments, standing figures with beaded accents, and a bust of a figure wearing an elaborate headpiece. Most of the carvings feature a dark polished finish. Affixed to the underside of two of the works are stickers, the rest are unmarked.

Condition

- minor surface and edge wear; some accretions.
