A grayscale gouache painting on paper of an abstract landscape, attributed to Modern American artist Grace Pologe (20th Century), created in 1949. Portrayed with large gestural brushstrokes and shades of black, white, and gray, this work features a hilly mountainous landscape rendered in an abstract expressionist manner. The work is unsigned and dated ‘10/49’ to the lower right corner, part of which is obscured by the fame. It is presented under glass and housed in a black composite frame.

- minor scratches scattered throughout frame; paper backing removed.
