A set of two acrylic on board and one acrylic on canvas board paintings by Morris Shokler (1910 – 2009). Each depicts a scene at a coastal port featuring homes along the blue sea and expansive skies, or historically dressed people near sailing vessels. They are signed by the artist to the lower right and left corners. One piece is present in a wood frame, and two piece are unframed awaiting your choice of presentation.Morris Shokler (1910 – 2009) was the brother of well-listed artist, Harry Shokler, and father of Carolyn Shokler-Fine.
Condition
- minor markings throughout; chipping, bending, and damage to corners, edges, and backboards of unframed pieces.
- some wear, scratching, light chipping and denting, residue, and discoloration to be expected with age and use.
