An early 20th-century oil painting on canvas by listed Swedish landscape artist Wilhelm Dahlböm (1855 – 1928). The Impressionist style work depicts figures fishing in a reflective tree-lined lake at dawn, with morning light shining brightly on a tall tree above them, illuminating the edges of pink clouds. The work is rendered with Fauvist-inspired layered brush strokes in a palette of variegated green, pink, purple, blue and brown hues. It is signed in black paint to the lower left and presented unframed on stretched canvas.

- to fair; toning throughout painting and canvas verso; scuffing, media loss and wear along outer edges of canvas; canvas is slightly loose on stretchers; work is unframed.
