Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Malayer Accent Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted vintage Persian Malayer accent rug. This wool rug features a large central medallion in ivory, scarlet, navy and cerulean blue. The medallion is surrounded by floral and vine patterns with complimenting spandrels on a partly open scarlet field. Framing the field are six borders, including a herati primary border grounded in navy; the main border is flanked by sawtooth and meandering-carnation guard borders. The rug finishes with overcast edges and short cotton warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
