A pastel diptych drawing titled The Reach by artist Hal Schwartz. This work is rendered with swirling, horizontal lines and features an outdoor scene. Depicted is a large, gnarled tree in the background and a man reaching towards a woman who rests in a reclined position. The work is signed and titled by hand to the lower margins of the frames. The works are presented in red wooden frames with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the versos. To the versos are pen notations with additional information on this work.

- accretions; surface scratches and wear to frames; tape adhered to the verso; some discoloration and tears to the verso.
