Item Details
An oil folk art painting on canvas by Louisiana artist Judy Doucet. This work depicts a scene in the daily life of women living in the Louisiana Bayou, hanging quilts up to dry on the laundry line, cooking in a pot over a fire, and standing on the front porch of a small house while chickens stand out front. It is signed to the lower right corner and has a printed bio to the verso. The work is presented in a gold tone wood frame and has a saw-tooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
