An original oil painting on board _Sunset _ by well listed Canadian artist Lily Osman Adams (1865 – 1945). This painting depicts a sparsely wooded landscape as the sun is setting, scattering reflected light onto the clouds overhead. The artist has used loose brush strokes and simplified forms, resulting in a plein air appearance. The piece is presented in a gold-tone beveled composite frame. This painting is signed and titled by hand in graphite to the verso. It is equipped to hang.

- the frame has been repaired to the lower left corner.
