Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a nautical scene, possibly Baltimore’s Inner Harbor area. This work features a series of various boats and ships on the gray sea, with a hazy harbor faintly visible on the horizon. The painting is signed to the lower right, partially indiscernible and the last name reading ‘Skenner’. It is presented in a black and gold-tone composite wood frame with a canvas liner.
Condition
- some craquelure scattered throughout composition; small faint stains present to upper center and upper left edge of painting; minor scratches and finish loss scattered throughout frame.
