A pair of oil paintings on canvas, including a nautical scene by well-listed German painter Ernst Hugo Lorenz-Murowana (1872 – 1950). This work depicts open water with several sailboats heading in the same direction. The lower right corner is signed in paint ‘Lorenz-Murowana’. Also included is landscape painting by an anonymous artist, depicting green mountains nearby a lake. This work is unsigned. Both paintings are presented without framing.

- wear and abrasions around edges of canvas. Accretion and craquelure across painting surface. Paint loss throughout.
