Marcasite and Calcite Specimens

A pair of marcasite and calcite specimens. This pair of mineral specimens features a specimen of the calcium carbonate mineral calcite that displays euhedral clear crystals with a rhombohedral or scalenohedral crystal habit with some penetration twinning of the rhombohedral crystals on a tabulate coral host rock. Also included is a specimen of the iron sulfide mineral marcasite that displays a tabular crystal habit with associated galena and sphalerite on an altered limestone host rock. No collection locality information is provided for these specimens.
