Vintage Salviati Style Venetian Glassware Collection
Item Details
A vintage Venetian glassware collection in the manner of Salviati. Each piece is swirled with gold aventurine flecks and finished with a teal edge. Included are four candlesticks with a gadrooned sconce and ribbed knops to the curved stem. They are accompanied by a set of eight goblets with sided bowls and a knob stem. Also include are nine bowls accented with applied lion handles and twelve plates. Nine footed salt cellars are also included, decorated with a ring of gadroons to the basin. Each piece is finished with a pontil mark to the base. These items are likely dated to the early 20th century.
