Vintage Vanity Box with Offset Lithograph

A vintage vanity box. The rectangular box features an offset lithograph to the lid, a mirror to interior, three storage compartments, and gold tone paint to the exterior with a basketweave pattern to the lower edge. La Mode Illustrée (the famous fashion) depicts two Parisian women in yellow and blue attire conversing in a park with flowers and feathers in their hair. There is no visible maker’s mark to the box.

Condition

- fabric connecting lid in interior is ripped; staining around mirror; marks to mirror; tarnish to metal; scratches and discoloration.
